Crossroads - Serving Opportunities
Serving at Crossroads is an excellent way to meet others and use your gifts to serve God! Below is a list of serving opportunities, please contact the specified person to find out details on what needs are in each specific area.

Set-up/Tear-down
Since the beginning, set-up/tear-down has been one of the primary ways to get connected at Crossroads. Rotating teams comprised of volunteers meet at Walker Charter or NorthPointe Christian every four weeks to set-up (Saturday, 9:00am) and then tear down (Sunday, after the 11:00am service). Contact Gary at gevans@crossroads-bible.org.

Sound
If you have had considerable amount of experience and expertise in sound/audio, join our rotation of audio technicians. Volunteers in this area of ministry serve every two to three weeks.  Contact Gary at gevans@crossroads-bible.org.

A/V
If you have a desire to learn and can push a button we would love to have you join this wing of Crossroads ministry. Rotating every three to four weeks, opportunities in this area include either joining our Media Shout team or a team of volunteers who record, copy, and distribute sermon CD’s. Contact Gary at gevans@crossroads-bible.org..

Crossroads Kids
Be a part of the team that helps to equip Crossroads' kids with a knowledge of  our Lord and Savior.  There are various commitment levels and roles that need to be filled.  There are also opportunities for people with expertise in "Special Needs" to help one-on-one with some children in the Crossroads Kids program.  Contact Lindsey at lamey@crossroads-bible.org.

Crossroads Kids Registration Table
Help those who are guests with Children at Crossroads become acquainted with the Crossroads Kids program and register their children as guests.  Serve on a rotating basis before each Gathering.  Contact Kim at kboynton@crossroads-bible.org.

Brew Crew
Love Coffee?  Then this is the place for you to serve.  Brew Coffee and arrange cookies before the service.  Various commitment levels available.  Contact Laur at laurschaberg@hotmail.com.

Ushers
Presenting a friendly face and warm welcome to newcomers as well as to those who have been attending Crossroads for a longer time is one of the primary roles of our ushers.  Ushers also assist with handing out Bibles for people to use during our Gatherings and pass the offering buckets.  Finally, our ushers assist the church Treasurer in processing offerings and preparing them for deposit. Contact Steve Dykstra at sdykstra@crossroads-bible.org.

Parking Lot Coordinators
As Crossroads has grown, available parking spaces at Walker Charter Academy have become more rare.  Particularly during the time between services as some folks are leaving and others arriving requires significant coordination.  Our servant-hearted parking lot coordinators, armed with walkie-talkies and sporting distinctive vests, help bring order to this otherwise chaotic situation.  Occasionally having to brave the harsher elements of inclement weather, these folks typically are on duty from 10:45 through 11:15 or at least until the vast bulk of cars have found places to park.
The Gospel changes people from the inside out. Christ gives us a radically new identity, freeing us from both self-righteousness and self-condemnation.
